Privacy statement
In short: I collect as little as possible, I use it only to answer your question, and I share it with nobody.
Who processes your data
De Raad Software, sole proprietorship of Damian de Raad, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42200414. Reachable at info@deraadsoftware.com.
Which data and why
If you send me a message, through the contact form or simply by email, I process what you send:
- Your name and email address, so I can reply
- Your company name, if you enter one
- The content of your message
The legal basis is your own request: you send the message because you want contact. Without that data I cannot answer you.
What I do not do
- No tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels
- No cookies — the site sets none at all. If you pick the dark or light theme yourself, your own browser remembers that; the choice stays on your device and never reaches me.
- No fonts or scripts from external servers, so your IP address goes nowhere
- No newsletter, unless you ask for one yourself
- Your data is never sold or shared for commercial purposes
Who else sees it
The form does not go through another service: it opens your own mail app, and your message arrives as an ordinary email in my mailbox at Proton Mail. The site is hosted at Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs containing IP addresses among other things. Both parties process that data solely to deliver the service.
Once FlexMusic is on sale, payment runs through Paddle.com, which acts as the seller (merchant of record). Paddle processes your payment details and issues the invoice; I never see your payment details. To create and email your licence key I receive your name and email address from Paddle and keep them in my licence register for as long as the licence exists.
How long I keep it
I keep messages for as long as the conversation runs and a reasonable period after that, so I can look up what we agreed. If you become a customer, I keep the data tied to your licence for as long as that licence is valid. Want everything removed sooner? Ask, and I will do it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to the processing. One email is enough — I will not ask you to fill in a form.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
